Chartpak Inc. is thrilled to have acquired Higgins Inks!

We are pleased to announce that effective November 14, 2008 Chartpak, Inc. has acquired the selected assets and rights of the Higgins® Drawing & Writing Ink business from Sanford, L.P. The assets include: inventory, equipment, and intellectual property relating exclusively to the Higgins® brand. "The Higgins® ink product line has long been one of the standards in the industry and will complement Chartpak's existing Koh-I-Noor and Pelikan ink lines", says Steven W. Roth, Chartpak's President.

"Higgins® ink manufacturing will be relocated to Leeds, Massachusetts where Chartpak currently produces Koh-I-Noor branded inks", continues Mr. Roth. 'The entire Higgins® product range will remain in the Chartpak product portfolio, including the ever popular Black Magic® waterproof ink."

Chartpak is pleased to welcome Higgins® to its portfolio of brands. Chartpak's brands include: Grumbacher® for artist paints and brushes, Koh-I-Noor® for drawing and sketching, Pelikan® for fine writing and art materials, Frances Meyer® for scrapbooking, Clearprint® for paper products, Craft House® for painting, crafts and science activity kits, and Chartpak® for graphic and decorative arts.
